The Domaine Saint-Lannes vineyard, which takes its name from the neighboring Romanesque chapel of the 12th century, is located on the magnificent terroirs of the Tnarze, on the paths of Saint-Jacques de Compostela.
Operating the Domaine Saint-Lannes since 1955, and producing wines since 1982, the Duffour family has constantly evolved its production with the main objectives of respect for the soil, highlighting local grape varieties, and the pleasure taken in the tasting of his wines.
Surrounded by quarries whose limestone outcrops in some places, the clay-limestone soils allow Domaine Saint-Lannes produces rich, concentrated wines, very marked by an undeniable terroir effect and an unusual typicity.
The ocean climate and the proximity of the Pyrenees, with the particularity of having hot summers accompanied by cool nights, bring all their influence to the aromatic quality of our grapes.
Today, with a surface area of 95 ha, Domaine Saint-Lannes wines travel the world to meet epicureans of all origins.

Vinification
This French wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was placed in the bottle with only 6 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine that stands out clearly from simpler qualities and so naturally enchants with the finest balance in all dryness. Taste doesnt necessarily require a lot of sugar. Light-footed and multi-layered, this crisp and light white wine presents itself on the palate.
Its succinct fruit acid reveals the signature Ctes de Gascogne on the palate wonderfully fresh and lively. The finale of this white wine from the Gascogne wine-growing region, more precisely from Ctes de Gascogne, finally convinces with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by limestone and clay.
Tasting Notes
Lively and fresh with many complex and intense aromas of exotic and citrus fruits, typical from these local grape varieties. Long & pleasant finish. Colombard and Gros-Manseng give a rich, intense, authentic and contemporary wine.
Lovely with prawns or other shrimp.
