Produced from French Colombard wine grown in Californias Russian River Valley, Korbel 18 is distinguished by its dual distillation approach. Approximately one third of the blend is distilled in traditional Alambic pot stillsan artisanal method used for centuries in the production of fine Cognacwhile the remaining two thirds are distilled in copper-lined continuous column stills. This marriage of time-honored technique and modern precision results in exceptional depth and balance.

Aged in 60-gallon French oak barrels previously used to ferment Chardonnay, the brandy develops remarkable subtlety and complexity.
