Forthave Nocino is made from hand foraged walnuts from New Yorks beautiful Hudson Valley, a lower abv and lower sugar version than most, and additionally infused with lemon peel and orris root. Forthave also uses a much longer process then is traditional. Instead of 3 months infusion and 3 months resting, they do about 9 months for each step! In addition, a distillation of the black walnuts was done to create a sort of walnut eau de vie which was then folded into the infusion.
