Many of you may remember that when I took over the store last October, one of the first things I did was add the 2020 Isole e Olena Chianti Classico to the shelf. I bought an absurd amount of it, despite not getting any further discount for buying more than 1 case from the distributor. I didn’t want to run out!

I have slowly been transforming our Chianti Classico section into my dream selection of wines. We have since added the insane value Casa Emma Chianti Classicoand now, we have my two very favorite Chianti Classico on the shelf, Fontodi Chianti Classico, and San Giusto a Rentenano Chianti Classico! For this class, we will bring in several more of my favorites from different subzones of Chianti Classico called UGAs, so we can experience the vast differences terroir and a bit of winemaking can offer Chianti Classico.

Like the Campania class, I have long been anticipating this class and could not be more excited to finally be posting it!

There will be 8+ wines, as well as light appetizers and if we hit 8 attendees there is a bonus Chianti Classico to help us see the aging capability these ‘every day wines’ possess!
