This special Buffalo Trace collection pays tribute to the legendary and extraordinary Sazerac cocktail and the legendary New Orleans bartender Tomas H. Handy, who first made it using Rye Whiskey. A response to consumer requests for more well-aged and barrel-strength Whiskey, this is a collection of uncut and unfiltered Straight Rye Whiskeys full of authentic, rich flavorsa true symbol of the timeless history of New Orleans.

The 2018 expression is comprised of 73 hand-picked barrels aged for over 6 years boasting rich notes of allspice, teaberry, and clove. Bottled at 128.8 proof (64,4% ABV) in a clear bottle to showcase Whiskey’s rich and dark color.
