Were delighted to continue our partnership with Chteau Branaire-Ducru for a second vintage of our St Julien. This Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend is perfumed with crushed blackcurrants and violets and a subtle lift of raspberry leaf and menthol. The palate is juicy and fruit-driven, with plump hedgerow fruit softening the layers of crunchy blackcurrants. There is a lovely freshness running through the wine. This provides a wonderful introduction to the classic and elegant style for which the chteau is known, while being wholly approachable and ready to enjoy now.
