The release

This is Tri Carraghs single cask Lochindaal, distilled at Bruichladdich in 2009 and matured for 16 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel. Bottled at 57.8% ABV, the outturn is 215 bottles.

Lochindaal is a peated Bruichladdich spirit style from the late 2000s, described by the bottler as peated to 50 PPM and produced in very limited quantity. The result is an Islay dram that leans into coastal smoke, sweetness from bourbon oak, and a long, persistent finish.
